Senior Logistics Management Specialist (Acquisition Logistics)

ARServices is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to join our team. These professionals will provide support to the Joint Project Manager Guardian (JPM G), Analytics & Response Systems (AR&S) team. This position is located in Edgewood, MD.

Principal Duties

  • Analyze the acquisition planning and life cycle management of multiple programs.
  • Serve as the logistics lead and analyze the acquisition planning and life cycle management for Joint Product Manager (JPdM) CBRNE A&RS projects Defense CBRNE Response Force (DCRF) (Active Component), Command and Control CBRNE -Army (United States Army Reserve Command (SARC) (C2CRE), Command and Control CBRNE National Guard (C2CRE-B)
  • Coordinate the preparation of logistics, supportability, personnel, and training portions of system acquisition plans, new material release documents, Material Fielding Plans (MFPs), and system transition plans.
  • Provide support to United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), United States Army Reserve Command (USARC), and subordinate commands.
  • Provide supportability and sustainability expertise in support of program and equipment set analysis.
  • Identify operational constraints to fielding and the sustainment of each equipment set.
  • Identify, track, and pull information from various Logistics Information Systems (LIS) to support assessment and analysis of program data.
  • Develop fielding plans and logistics demonstration plans, and coordinate them with stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate the issuance of equipment and facilitate all inventories.
  • Serve as the liaison officer (LNO) for Contractor Logistic Support (CLS s) Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Coordinate the preparation of logistics, supportability, personnel and training portions of system acquisition plans, new material release documents, material fielding plans, operating manuals and systems transition plans.
  • Plan all calendar events and mitigate scheduling issues to ensure all goals and objectives are met.
  • Lead multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure integrated logistics support (ILS) elements are addressed in the acquisition, training, testing, fielding, and sustainment of equipment.
  • Provide coordination and support at meetings by producing the agenda, preparing presentation materials and displays, and hosting/participating in the event as required.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and brief CLS supported leadership on JPdM CBRNE A&RS s responsibilities regarding CRE programs.
  • The contractor shall perform logistics analyses and support for all ILS elements across every phase of system acquisition.
  • Determine level of maintenance, review system parts lists, and make recommendations on the table of allowances.
  • Monitor supportability requirements in relation to the established requirements for cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Ensure integration of all support elements to maximize system deployability, supportability, and mobility
  • Develop, review, analyze, prepare, and/or update ILS studies, analyses, and program documentation in the following areas:
    • Acquisition logistics
    • Supply support
    • Maintenance planning
    • Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation
    • Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH)
    • Automatic identification technology
    • Information technology resources
    • Product and technical data
    • Facilities and infrastructure
    • Obsolescence management
    • Deployment and fielding
    • Post production support
  • Prepare, review, and maintain Technical Manuals (TMs), training packages, and other logistics-related deliverables.
  • Manage, review, and comment on Prime contractor technical manuals, validation efforts, provisioning data, training packages, and other logistics-related deliverables.
  • The contractor shall review and check technical documents for revisions and changes.
  • Maintain personal and organizational interactions to enhance stakeholder relations and actively promote rapport with customers.
  • Provide logistics support and input to program integrated product teams (IPTs), Integrated Program Reviews (IPRs), and milestone reviews.
  • Monitor/protect acquisition-sensitive materiel.
  • Draft the ESOH and Facilities sections within the initial Joint Integrated Logistics Assessment (JILA) and update them monthly. In addition, the contractor shall coordinate input to the reporting process for other sections.
  • Review and revise Turn-in Documentation (i. e., Forms 250s, 2062s and 3161s).


  • Active SECRET clearance, and ability to maintain
  • Ability to travel up to 80%; CONUS and OCONUS; short-travel notices; suspense dates
  • Six (6) or more years of experience in the areas of logistics planning, development, implementation, and management of support concepts and strategies

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
