Electrical Production Assembler

General Accountabilities:

Performs the necessary assembly and testing, including repairs, on any operation within the production process to manufacture a product. Works from standardized methods and process instructions, product prints, written, and verbal instructions to defined workmanship standards. Uses all tools and machines, hand and power driven, plus gauges and fixtures necessary to perform the work task.

Specific Accountabilities:

Uses tools, gauges, and devices necessary to build the product.
Required to perform all paper and identification work pursuant to tasks.
May pick up parts from stock room and move completed assemblies to next point in the process.
Checks produced parts per operation inspection standards and is responsible for quality and quantity of work performed.
Assembles and tests various parts and subassemblies per process.
May be required to pack finished product prior to shipping.
Must comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.

Must comply with all applicable U.S.export and security regulations.

Other duties may be assigned.

Requires two (2) years related assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must read blueprints, analysis sheets, and specifications.
Must have knowledge of shop mathematics.
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of material.

Must be eligible for a US Security Clearance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
