As
Maintenance Supervisor
you will be responsible for maintenance functions of our apartment community in
Edgewood, MD
. You will perform oversight of the Maintenance department, complete repairs and grounds upkeep; prepare apartments for new residents and ensure that our buildings are functioning at peak efficiency and in line with our mission statement and core values.
To successfully fulfill your role, you should expect to perform the following duties:
oWorking knowledge of HVAC systems, electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and refurbishing
oFamiliarity with various appliances
oStrong communication skills
oAbility to work in an organized, efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through
oAbility to work in teams as well as independently
Additional job responsibilities include:
oEnsure that the community and its grounds are maintained in accordance with our company standards
oIdentify any areas in need of repair
oRespond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff
oPrepare apartments for new residents
oAssist with completing apartment inspections
oEnsure proper removal and disposal of trash
oMaintain availability to residents, management, and staff on a regular predictable basis
oPerform on-call duty when assigned. Mileage and travel time are reimbursed
Minimum
Qualifications:
oHVAC certification preferred
oFamiliarity with various appliances
oStrongEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
