Leidos has a current job opportunity for a Training Analyst/Instructor. This position is based out of Edgewood, MD but because of the heavy travel requirement (70% travel) this position can be teleworked from any CONUS location.
JOB
Summary:
Conduct the analysis, design, development, execution, and evaluation of new equipment training to align with current and emerging DoD/DA Emergency Management requirements.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with Emergency Management subject matter experts (SME) in the definition and development of Training, and Exercises to align with DA policy and doctrine.
Coordinate with internal and external teams of Emergency Managers, Developers, Planners, Training Developers, and Exercise Controller/Evaluators and work closely with Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and DA policy and planners to develop innovative solutions and products.
Travel when needed up to 70% per year. Travel will include locations within the Continental United States and Overseas.
Qualifications:
BASIC
Qualifications:
BS degree in Adult Education or related field preferred. 6
years of Training and Exercise experience is required.
Recent Experience with DoD/DA programs.
Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
Recent training experience with mass warning and notification systems.
Exceptional knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Project).
Able to travel when needed up to 70% per year. Travel will include locations within the Continental United States and Overseas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Recent training experience with 911/telephony a plus.
Recent experience with Department of Defense Instruction 6055.17: Installation Emergency Management a plus.
Recent development and design experience with Distance Learning, Computer-Based/Web-Based training a plus.
Department of Defense Senior/Master Instructor a plus.
